The good news from Thai industrial standards Institute (TISI) that has released TIS1043-2564 and TIS 3332-2564 for unplasticized polyvinyl chloride(PVC-U) for windows and doors respectively. Both of TIS is the general standard up to the fabricator’s discretion to apply. With TIS endorsement, it increases consumers’ confidence on quality and performance of our Upvcwindows and doors.

Theses standard cover windows and doors with PVC-U frame and shutter which areready-made from factory or assembled at installation place for the benefit ofconsumers as below.

-Requirements of components in the production of uPVC profiles both lead andcadmium must not exceed the specified standards.

-Condition for mechanical properties, impact resistance, heat reversion test,flammability and weather resistance etc.

-Performance of uPVC windows &doors : water tightness, air tightness, windload resistance etc.For complete information.
